January is financially tough for most people, but this year will be especially difficult for the most vulnerable people facing poverty, debt, and housing difficulties. It’s time for the Tories to fix Universal Credit. Join Oxford Labour on the doorstep in Hinksey Park, where our first post-Christmas canvas will be dedicated to talking to residents about the Labour Party’s#FixUniversalCredit campaign.

We will be meeting outside the bar 'Home' on Abingdon Road (formerly The Berkshire) before splitting into smaller groups. Don’t worry if you’ve never been canvassing before, we can buddy you up with someone more experienced to teach you the ropes. We’ll also provide short scripts, petitions, and great company!

After the canvas we’ll rejoin forces at the meeting point to warm up with fellow comrades over some food and drink.
