John Tanner is an Oxfordshire County Councillor for the Isis Division and an Oxford City Councillor for Littlemore. John is a Cabinet Member for a Cleaner, Greener Oxford on the City Council and Labour's spokesperson for Sustainable Development on the County Council.
John also chairs the Oxfordshire Waste Partnership.
John is married with two sons and has lived in Oxford for over 20 years. When Leader of Oxford City Council John played a key role in taking buses out of Cornmarket and establishing the Kassam Stadium. In his spare time John enjoys keeping his allotment.
