Labour have selected Alex Hollingsworth as our candidate for the Carfax by-election on September 4th. Alex stood for Carfax in May, but was pipped to the post by the Green Party by only 35 votes.

Alex has lived in Central Oxford for more than twenty years. He is a publisher and has two children at local schools. Alex is an experienced candidate -; he was a City Councillor from 1994 to 2006, leading the Council for four years. Alex is committed to making the centre of our city a great place to live, work, study and visit. Alex is a former Leader of Oxford City Council.
