Nigel Chapman

Labour Council Candidate for St. Margaret's

Call: 01865 554 757

Nigel has lived in the heart of St Margaret’s Ward for almost fifteen years and his wife Maggie sent their two daughters to Cherwell School. Nigel loves the city, its history and its diversity. Nigel believes that we are fortunate to live in a uniquely beautiful part of Oxford and it is important we look after it. We need to ensure any necessary new buildings are developed with sensitivity to the local environment.

Nigel has led complex organisations, including the BBC World Service from 2004 to 2009 in times of decreasing funding, and is currently the CEO of Plan International - one of the oldest and most respected charities campaigning to end child poverty in fifty of the world’s poorest countries.
