Whether in the public or private sector, everyone deserves a decent pension. Thousands of public sector workers and supporters joined the demonstration on 30th November to make this point. Whilst the disruption caused is regrettable, people were prepared to lose a day’s pay to make their case and Oxford Labour was there to back them.

Only Labour councillors supported a motion at Oxfordshire County Council on 13th December 2011 calling for decent pensions for all.
