Oxford Labour Opposes Con/Dem Cuts To Warden Services

People living in sheltered accommodation have had their daily warden services slashed as a result of the cuts being forced through by the Lib Dem / Tory Coalition Government.

Oxford Labour Councillors are arguing that urgent action needs to be taken to protect residents. Dee Sinclair, Labour City Councillor for Quarry and Risinghurst, said:"We are appalled by what’s happened. The city council is looking at a number of ways to help the residents who have been abandoned by this government".
