Steve Curran was born and grew up in Oxford and knows the Leys well. In the 1990s he ran the Blackbird Leys youth centre and helped to set up the Leys community Development Initiative (CDI). Steve has recently been made redundant after 31 years working as a youth worker

Steve is married with two grown up children. If elected Steve would work alongside Labour’s other City Councillor for Northfield Brook, Scott Seamons.
