Chuka Umunna MP, former Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, will be visiting Oxford on June 2nd as part of a wider campaign day for a 'Remain' vote in the upcoming EU referendum.

OULC will be hosting Chuka for an hour in Radcliffe Square where we will be holding a street stall and campaign events, to drum up support for remaining within the EU.

Afterwards, Oxford Brookes will be hosting a Q&A where Chuka will be joined in conversation by Anneliese Dodds, MEP for the South East of England. They will discuss what inspired them to become involved in politics and why politics is as important as ever in the 21st century. They will also reflect on the role of education, particularly post-16 education, in empowering people to understand, value and use their civil rights.

After the discussion there will be an opportunity to put questions to both Chuka and Anneliese.
