After listening to local residents, Labour Candidates Trish Elphinstone and Dr Sandy Douglas are pressing for the County Council to make modifications to the Church Cowley LTN as part of a new Labour-secured local consultation.

County Council Candidate Trish Elphinstone said: “Labour have consistently fought for more community engagement on local active travel schemes. We are backing local calls for the current filter on Crowell Road to be replaced by an ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) camera. This will allow a new bus route direct from Littlemore to Cowley Centre, as well as access for emergency vehicles, blue badge holders and taxis.”iews are also being sought on potential public realm improvements, including new benches, trees, and cycle racks.
