New Labour branch to be based in Botley

As a result of a surge in the numbers joining the Labour Party locally we are setting up a brand new Branch called Botley And District.

This will cover Botley and surrounding districts such as Appleton,Cumnor, Farmoor, Kennington, Hinksey, Radley, Henwood, Sunningwell and South Hinksey. We want to make the Labour Party's presence felt locally, and influence the local elections.

This new branch was established in February 2017, following the demand for a specific branch to cover our area; it is currently being coordinated, unusually, by five women conveners.

We want to be as inclusive as possible and would be interested in ascertaining the views of local people about what matter to them and the things they would like to see the Labour Party doing in Botley and District.

On the 7th of April we are holding an inaugural celebration of our new branch. This will take place at 7.30pm at Seacourt Hall in Botley. Wine/soft drinks and nibbles provided. We hope as many people as possible will be able to turn up and share their views.
