Renters’ Rights Bill introduced to protect private renters and ban section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions

Started GB Energy, our publicly-owned clean power company

Employment Rights Bill introduced, helping 7 million workers and banning exploitative zero-hour contacts and fire and rehire while granting new rights on maternity pay and sick pay from day one
National Wealth Fund established to boost public and private investment in British industry and create good jobs
Supporting film and creative industries through the Independent Film Tax Credit

Ended junior doctors’ strikes, one of the longest industrial disputes in NHS history

Free breakfast clubs roll-out in primary schools from April
