🏠 Tackling the housing crisis 

Renters’ Rights Bill introduced to protect private renters and ban section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions

Planning reforms and housing targets are already being introduced to get 1.5 million more homes built by the end of this Parliament

Housing promised for all young care leavers, domestic abuse survivors, and veterans

Warm Homes Plan will lift over 1 million renters out of fuel poverty

🌊 Protecting the environment

Started GB Energy, our publicly-owned clean power company

Approved three large solar farms, enough to power 400,000 homes

Ended the 9 year ban on onshore wind within 72 hours

Secured 131 renewable energy projects, enough to power 11 million homes

Cracking down on polluting water bosses and water sector reform

💪 Standing up for workers and growing our economy

Employment Rights Bill introduced, helping 7 million workers and banning exploitative zero-hour contacts and fire and rehire while granting new rights on maternity pay and sick pay from day one

National Wealth Fund established to boost public and private investment in British industry and create good jobs

Supporting film and creative industries through the Independent Film Tax Credit

Ended junior doctors’ strikes, one of the longest industrial disputes in NHS history

1,000 more GPs by Christmas

NHS 111 now offering 24/7 crisis mental health support

🌎 Taking action on the world stage 

Restored UNRWA funding to get aid into Gaza as quickly as possible

Binned the Rwanda plan

Providing aid and pushing for urgent humanitarian action in Sudan 

Reset relations with the EU

📚 Standing up for children 

Free breakfast clubs roll-out in primary schools from April

VAT on private school fees will be introduced from January to help pay for 6,500 new teachers and better mental health support for children

Scrapped single headline Ofsted grades to boost standards and increase transparency in our school system

🚂 Fighting for better transport 

Railways in public ownership by the end of this Parliament

Buses Bill introduced to bring buses under local control, sparking investment in the UK

⚖️ Standing up for justice and the most vulnerable 

Banned zombie knives to make our streets safer

Dealt with far-right riots quickly and decisively – Labour won’t tolerate thuggery on our streets

Women’s Justice Board aimed at reducing number of women going to prison/reoffending

Covid Corruption Inquiry to get back an estimated £2.6 billion of public money

Hillsborough Law Bill to be introduced by April to criminalise dishonesty by public bodies

Compensation for infected blood victims, after decades of waiting
