Liz is the Leader of the County Labour Group.

Liz became involved in politics following Chairing a successful campaign to stop Oxfordshire ending Nursery Education. She was the Director of a large Charity for 20 years and in that capacity set up several voluntary organisations including the Conmunity Foundation and Homestart. She also set up a Dial a Ride and a furniture recycling project. She worked in Perm Russia to support civic society when the Soviet Union ended.

Liz has lived in the Churchill/Lye Valley area since I971, her children and grandchildren attended local schools and she continues to be a Governor on Wood Farm Primary School and the Slade Nursery School. She campaigned to get funding needed to re built their buildings during the last  Labour Government. Liz has also been active in many local community groups and partnerships:  Bullingdon Community Centre, Youth Partnership Health and Community Partnerships.
