Have you joined the Labour Party since the election? Are you a long-standing member looking to get more involved in campaigning? If so, you are cordially invited to take part in the Oxford Labour Training Academy. We will be starting this new and exciting volunteer programme with a one day introductory and training session on Saturday March 12th , followed by participation in our Super Sunday campaign event on March 13th with our councillors, volunteers, and maybe an MP or two.
Attendees will receive training from the local elections team who will help you gain experience in: community campaigning, leadership, election planning, print, media, digital campaigning and event management. As well as formal training the programme will have a very strong practical element . You will have the opportunity to make a vital contribution to the forthcoming City Council elections in May.
