Our Labour City Council is funding two extra cuts of grass verges locally after the Lib Dem-Green County Council reduced cuts to just once a year. Oxfordshire is also getting an extra £8.9 million for road and pavement repairs from our Labour Government this year.

Labour is funding more verge cutting, street cleaning, and better bulky waste collections and graffiti removals. Help us get problems fixed quickly by reporting them online at www.fixmystreet.com.

Some grass verges across the city will be left alone to help wildlife and promote biodiversity. They will be cut every September: Abberbury Road Roundabout, Abingdon Road near Redbridge Paddock, Church Cowley Road near the cemetery, the Eastern Bypass Central Reservation, Grenoble Road, Green Road, Marston Ferry Road, Oxford Road in New Marston, and Sunderland Avenue.

Parks and other green spaces will be cut more frequently alongside extra litter picking.
